INTEgrated REporting for SMEs Transparency, the INTEREST project supported by the ERASMUS+ European programme

 The University of Udine (UNIUD) is an Italian public university founded in 1978. It counts 15.397 students and 645 professors and researchers, as well as 176 research fellows.

 The University of Udine (UNIUD) is an Italian public university founded in 1978. It counts 15.397 students and 645 professors and researchers, as well as 176 research fellows.

Higher education and research are coordinated by 8 Departments and 8 Research centres, and supported by a central administrative office.
The 1978 law that established UNIUD called specifically for an active role in fostering international relations. UNIUD has been involved in a broad range of EU projects:

  • Horizon 2020: 11 projects funded, 5 of which coordinated;
  • 7th Framework Programme: 38 projects funded, 3 of which coordinated;
  • Other international: 20 projects funded, 7 of which coordinated;
  • Territorial cooperation 2007-2013: 32 projects funded, 3 of which coordinated;
  • Territorial cooperation 2014-2020: 16 projects funded, 3 of which coordinated.

UNIUD has agreements in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme with 300+ partners in 32 countries; yearly 500+ students study or take internships abroad, while 170+ foreigners attend classes in Udine.
The University of Udine implemented manifold EU-funded initiatives, including the “Key to the Europe” project, focused on Erasmus placement and involving incubators, industry associations, Chambers of Commerce and the Regional Government.
