The INTEREST project takes privacy and GDPR aspects seriously into consideration. Please feel free to contact us for any further request or any data or information you would like to correct. The present page also includes legal information details.


Cookies are short reports that are sent and stored on the hard drive of the user's computer through your browser when it connects to a web. Cookies can be used to collect and store user data while connected to provide you the requested services and sometimes tend not to keep. Cookies can be themselves or others.

There are several types of cookies:

  • Technical cookies that facilitate user navigation and use of the various options or services offered by the web as identify the session, allow access to certain areas, facilitate orders, purchases, filling out forms, registration, security, facilitating functionalities (videos, social networks, etc..).

  • Analytical cookies which allow anonymous analysis of the behavior of web users and allow to measure user activity and develop navigation profiles in order to improve the websites.

So when you access our website, in compliance with Article 22 of Law 34/2002 of the Information Society Services, in the analytical cookies treatment, we have requested your consent to their use. All of this is to improve our services.

We may use Google Analytics to collect anonymous statistical information such as the number of visitors to our site. Cookies added by Google Analytics are governed by the privacy policies of Google Analytics. If you want you can disable cookies from Google Analytics by following the instructions of your browser. In addition, YouTube related cookies may be used when you open YouTube videos (we don't manage those third parties cookies and don't have access to their content either).

We keep our data private and don't sell addresses to third parties. Your data as a person may be kept up to one year after your account has been deleted from our website and after all projects into which you may have been involved have been archived. You also may ask earlier action on your individual data as a person by using the GDPR functionalities of the website (displayed when you are looged in with your user account) or by contacting us directly at info [] adinvest-international . eu.

Register of data treatment activity in relation to GDPR for the INTEREST project website

  • For any other GDPR aspect related to INTEREST outside the present website, please contact the coordinator of the INTEREST project as indicated in the footer of the website (Budapest Business School).
  • How do we protect and safeguard personal data in relation to the INTEREST wbesite:
    • Webservers are hosted in Europe and secured by the Internet webserver provider OVH
    • In order to protect personal data, we put a number of technical and organisational measures in place. Technical measures include appropriate actions to address online security, risk of data loss, alteration of data or unauthorised access, taking into consideration the risk presented by the processing and the nature of the personal data being processed. Organisational measures include restricting access to the personal data solely to authorised persons with a legitimate need to know for the purposes of this processing operation.
    • Access to personal data:
      • is not given to third parties external to INTEREST core partnership
      • may be authorised to INTEREST core partners in terms of animation and management of the activities they responsible of (like implementation of eLearning sessions) or to the Coordination team of the INTEREST project for contractual obligations for instance.
  • Any concerned person by the data collected within the INTEREST website context has specific rights as a ‘data subject’ under Chapter III (Articles 14-25) of Regulation (EU) 2018/1725, in particular the right to access, rectify or erase his/her personal data and the right to restrict the processing of his/her personal data. Where applicable, he/she also has the right to object to the processing or the right to data portability. The person can exercise his/her rights by contacting the Data Protection Manager. Where the person wishes to exercise his/her rights in the context of one or several specific activities indicated here after, the person should provide their description in his/her request.
  • Remark: in case a person is involved in in activity financially supported by the European Union for the INTEREST project (or is involved in a contractual relationaship with the INTEREST partners) and wants the related personal data to be forgotten, that information will be removed when possible (if not linked to contracual obligation). In case the data are contractually binding, the INTEREST partners will look at the possibility to anonymise the data (fully/partly) or at the possibility of replacing the person by another contractually binding person at his/her organisation replacing him/her.

Data recorded after a user participates to Pilot seminars or to the e-Learning modules:

Results or statistical elements are recorded based on the participations to the pilot seminars or the e-Learning modules. You may request to delete the personal side of the data, but due to contractual commitments with the funding sources of the European Commission, some data may be retained until the end of the possible auditing period (5 years after the end of the analysis of the final report of the grant contract). In any case, the personal data are not provided to commercial third party.

Data recorded for the participation to events organised by the INTEREST project:

Participation to INTEREST events fiancially supported by the European Union imply the obligation of reporting and presentation of results at the INTEREST project level. As a consequence, publication of participant lists (without email addresses or phone number) and/or of pictures may take place on the INTEREST website. In case of request by a user, we will do our best to anonymise the corresponding online information (but in any case, the paper version of the reporting elements for the contractual obligations may remain at the level of the data manged by the Coordinator of the INTEREST  project).

Data recorded by 3rd party services :

For business, analytical and administrative purposes, our website may also employ 3rd party services like: Anonymous data for analytics is collected by Google Analytics, moz.com, Clicky.com and such data does not contain any personal identifiable records of any user.
